East Yorkshire amateurs to tackle original Paris-Dakar Rally route
A team of amateur drivers are set to take on a 3,720mile (6,000km) rally challenge despite not have a single mile of racing experience between them.
Nev Styles and Tony Day, from Pocklington, will tackle the original route of the famous Paris-Dakar race in the new year.
Mr Styles said it had been his dream to take part in the event since he watched the inaugural race in 1978.
