Appeal Court backs Dreamland plan for Margate

The High Court has ruled that a heritage theme park can be built in Margate on the derelict Dreamland site.

Control of the former amusement park passed to Thanet District Council in May after a High Court judge backed a compulsory purchase order.

The previous landowner, DreamlandLive, lost its appeal to reverse the decision.
