Ramsgate's Pleasurama site could be reclaimed

The site of a former funfair in Kent could be taken back into the local authority's hands after a proposed development of flats, shops and a hotel failed to materialise.

Thanet District Council has been discussing the way ahead for the Pleasurama site in Ramsgate.

The agreement between the council and developer SFP runs out at the end of next month but Councillor Ian Driver said it would take some time before any action could be taken.
