Beavers 'help tackle flooding'

Conservationists are calling for more wetlands to be created to help reduce the threat of flooding.

They say the best way to do so is to introduce beavers in river catchment areas, where they can be allowed to broaden the flow of the water.

Yvette Austin spoke to Tony Swandale, from Kent Wildlife Trust, whose Ham Fen reserve has had beavers for more than 10 years, and Peter Smith, of the Wildwood Trust.
