The years are no healer for Kent miners

Miners from the Kent pit village of Aylesham are still feeling the effects of the strike which began 30 years ago.

Margaret Thatcher's decision to close uneconomic pits challenged an entire way of life for tens of thousands of people.

BBC South East's Peter Whittlesea has been speaking to Philip and Kay Sutcliffe, an ex-miner and his wife who involved in the strike in Kent.
