French Police 'let illegal migrants go' at Calais

French Police have launched an investigation after footage obtained by South East Today appears to show officers discovering migrants aboard a lorry in Calais and then allowing them to run away.

The incident, filmed by a British driver, has prompted anger from the Dover MP Charlie Elphicke, who said the authorities in France are not doing enough to stop migrants boarding lorries bound for Kent.
