Foam maze artwork opens in Margate caves

An art production has opened in the caves in Margate's winter gardens in Kent - where audience members are being asked to leave their inhibitions behind.

The Maze, described as a foam structure of industrial proportions, is a collaboration between the Turner Contemporary gallery and Jasmin Vardimon dance company.

Director Vardimon told BBC reporter Miranda Schunke she had set out to create a multi-sensory experience. Dancers Luke Burrough and Silke Muys said test runs had led to "a few worried looks" from the audience, but the production was "good fun".
