Stillbirth parents donate refrigerated crib

A Kent couple, whose film based on their experience of stillbirth is being used to train midwives across the world, have raised money for equipment to help bereaved parents.

David and Jo Ward, from Rochester, lost their daughter Abgail in 2009.

They have now helped to develop a refrigerated cot which will give parents more time to say goodbye to their child. It has been donated to the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital in Margate.

The presentation was made by Bucks Fizz singer Cheryl Baker.

South East Today's Jessica Banham talked to Mr Ward and Helen Bland from the hospital.
