How did JFK's leather jacket end up in Canterbury?

A leather jacket which is thought to have belonged to John F Kennedy was given a "six-figure sum" valuation by the BBC's Antiques Roadshow during filming at Walmer Castle.

Its current owner, Canon Carl Arvidsson from Canterbury, spoke to BBC Radio Kent's Kate Recordon about the history of the item.

He said the former US president gave the jacket to his Swedish lover Gunilla von Post in the 1950s. It was later passed to Canon Arvidsson's grandfather, who was one of her neighbours.

Find out how much experts estimated the garment could be worth on the Antique Roadshow on Sunday at 20:00 BST on BBC One and on the iPlayer after that.
