Kent puppy home after eating toy arrow
A 12-week-old puppy that needed life-saving surgery after she swallowed a toy arrow has recovered and is back with her family.
Staffordshire Bull Terrier Loula had emergency surgery to remove the 12in (30cm) projectile, which became lodged in her stomach and gastrointestinal tract.
Owner Luke Ponter said Loula usually got fluffy teddy bears out of his children's toy box, but this time ended up in a serious condition. He said their veterinary surgery in Folkestone saved her life.
