Mayor of Calais Natacha Bouchart supports port blockade

The mayor of Calais has pledged to turn out in support of a blockade of the Port of Calais on Monday.

Shopkeepers and farmers plan to join hauliers in a "human chain" to demand the north of the Jungle migrant camp is demolished.

They fear violence from organised gangs and migrants.

While on a visit to Kent, Natacha Bouchart said she would join the protest as the situation had become "unbearable".
