Bodycam footage shows traffic warden knocked down by car
CCTV footage of a traffic warden being mown down by a car has been released by Kent Police.
David Drury was hit by the vehicle in High Street, Eastchurch, on the Isle of Sheppey on 8 July after he asked the driver to move his vehicle from zigzag lines next to a pedestrian crossing.
While the parking ticket was being printed, the driver accelerated towards the warden and knocked him over, before driving off.
Mr Drury suffered neck and shoulder injuries.
Footage of the incident was captured on a body-worn camera.
