Snargate farmer fined over swan attacks

A farmer has been fined £7,000 after killing two mute swans and injuring a third.

A crew on an HM Coastguard helicopter filmed the attacks while on a training exercise.

David Thompson, 80, from Snargate in Kent, was fined £7,000 at Canterbury Magistrates' Court and ordered to pay £470 costs.
