Croston residents' pump plan to tackle flood water

Residents of a Lancashire village hit by floods in the past have been trained to use a pump so they can tackle rising waters.

Croston has flooded regularly in the past when high rainfall has caused the River Yarrow burst its banks,

In June 2012, more than 70 homes were flooded, forcing residents to be evacuated.

It left the village "cut off" as the three main roads surrounding the village were under water.
