The Lancashire farmers who welcome fracking
A group of Lancashire farmers who believe fracking will help their businesses have formed a group to offer their expertise to the energy industry.
The businessmen will use their experience to advise the North West Energy Taskforce on how the development of shale gas will impact the agricultural sector.
BBC North West Today has spoken to some of the farmers, including Tim Laycock. who has allowed energy firm Caudrilla to dig 12 seismic wells on his land.
In two weeks' time, Lancashire County Council will decide whether to allow the process at two sites in the county.
