Dame Barbara Windsor 'thrilled' to turn on Blackpool Illuminations

Dame Barbara Windsor has switched on this year's Blackpool Illuminations.

The former EastEnders actress turned on the famous lights at 20:45 BST on Friday. Dame Barbara said she was "absolutely thrilled" and "emotional" to return to the town, where she was evacuated to as a child during World War Two.
