Yorkshire Sculpture Park exhibits Roger Hiorns council flat

A former London council flat which was due for demolition has been painstakingly transported to a new home at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park (YSP).

The flat, originally in Southwark, became a visitor attraction in 2011 after artist Roger Hiorns covered its whole interior with sparkling blue copper sulphate crystals and opened it to the public.

Weighing 31 tonnes, the artwork - called Seizure 2008/2013 - is due to go on show at the YSP at the weekend.
