Debbie Purdy: Right-to-die campaigner's battle
Right-to-die campaigner Debbie Purdy, who won a landmark case to clarify the law on assisted suicide, has died, her family has confirmed.
The 51-year-old, from Bradford, had been living with primary progressive multiple sclerosis for more than 10 years.
She died at the Marie Curie Hospice in Bradford on 23 December.
In a final interview with Look North she explained the background to her long court battles.
