Cystic Fibrosis sufferer's drug denial "death sentence"

A 20-year-old Cystic Fibrosis sufferer says she has been "given a death sentence" after a health body recommended the NHS should not fund a new drug.

Hannah Lindley says the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence's (NICE) recommendation to not fund a new drug means she will suffer the same fate as her sister.

Iona, 19, died from the condition in November last year.

But NICE's Draft Guidance for the Orkambi drug says it is not a "cost effective use of NHS resources."
