Covid-19: Bradford family wants testing to enable care home visits

Three sisters have said families of care home residents should be tested regularly for coronavirus to enable them to visit in person.

The sisters, from Bradford, are unable to visit their mother, who has dementia, as England begins a second national lockdown.

Though they are permitted window visits, the sisters say those are distressing for their mother who does not understand why they cannot come inside.

The government has encouraged care homes to use floor-to-ceiling screens or visiting pods and to allow window visits for relatives.
