Cyclist filmed riding on M62 motorway near Huddersfield
A cyclist has been filmed riding along the hard shoulder of a motorway in West Yorkshire.
The rider travelled on the M62 westbound between junction 23 and 22 on Wednesday.
The video was uploaded to social media by PC Martin Willis who said cyclists should not be on the motorway.
A safety sign warning drivers about a cyclist on the network is seen above the rider shortly before they were "escorted off and reported for cycling on the motorway", police added.
