Garforth fire: Seven engines deployed to field blaze

Fire crews tackled a large blaze in Leeds on Friday.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue was alerted to incident in a field off Ridge Road in Garforth at about 12:30 BST.

They initially deployed seven fire engines to the scene to bring the blaze, which created a huge amount of black smoke, under control before scaling back their response to two units.
