Leicestershire man sits in maggot bath

A Leicester coach driver is aiming to break the world record for the amount of time spent in a bath of maggots, to raise money for Comic Relief.

Paul Johnston aims to sit in the bath, which has been filled with 10 gallons of maggots, for 12 hours.

The current world record is one-and-a-half hours.

He said: "It's very tickly. I can feel them crawling between my toes. And the smell is absolutely horrible."
