Richard III remains find influences new play

The discovery of King Richard III's remains in a Leicester car park has influenced a key scene in a new version of Shakespeare's play.

Director Loveday Ingram said archaeological evidence from last year's dig has helped her to capture the king's last moments at the Battle of Bosworth.

"I now know how many blows he received, how he died and what weapon was used," said Ms Ingram.

The play runs until 16 November at the Nottingham Playhouse.
