Richard III: Call for holy place for bones before reburial

A historian has called for the remains of King Richard III, discovered underneath a Leicester car park, to be moved to a "respectful sanctity place" to await his reburial.

The bones are currently held in a secure and secret location at the University of Leicester campus.

Philippa Langley said it was agreed locally before a legal application that he would be "honoured appropriately".

The university said it was legally bound to safeguard the remains.
