Friends and family of Rakesh Chauhan pay their respects

Hundreds of people in Leicester have gathered to offer their support and condolences to the family of local-born RAF officer, Fl Lt Rakesh Chauhan.

Intelligence officer, Fl Lt Chauhan died in Afghanistan last Sunday when the Lynx helicopter he was in crashed in Kandahar province.

He died along with Capt Thomas Clarke, Warrant Officer Class 2 Spencer Faulkner and Cpl James Walters from the Army Air Corps, and L/Cpl Oliver Thomas of the Intelligence Corps.
