Hungry fox filmed balancing perilously on bird table

A surprised family spotted a daredevil fox balanced perilously on a bird table in their garden in Leicestershire.

Philip Goodger from Great Glen said his sister first saw the animal, which had jumped up onto the table to eat the bird feed.

"We thought she'd just seen a pigeon or something," he said.

"But lo and behold we saw a massive fox eating at its leisure. We stood there in amazement."

Mr Goodger said he would not deter the fox from feasting at the table if it makes a return.
