Brattleby gnomes mystery solved after decade

After more than a decade, the mystery of how gnomes appeared across a Lincolnshire village has been solved.

Civil servant Peter Leighton, who died of cancer aged 61, was revealed as the prankster at his funeral.

Neighbours Mike Spencer and John Spratley said the revelation had made people happy at a sad time.
