Lincolnshire farmers 'don't report all crime'
A farmer claims rural crime in Lincolnshire is higher than figures suggest because smaller crimes are not being reported.
Simon Hawkes, from East Kirkby, had two tractors and hundreds of pounds of diesel stolen, but police are not investigating the diesel theft further.
Mr Hawkes questioned whether reporting smaller crimes was a waste of time, but Ch Insp Stuart Brin and the National Farmers Union have both encouraged farmers to talk to the police more.
