Heckington windmill has eight sails restored

The only eight-sailed windmill in the UK has been restored to its original state thanks to a £1m renovation project.

Heckington Windmill's owners had feared high winds could disrupt the work at the Lincolnshire landmark, but a crowd of supporters saw all sails restored.

Millwright Neil Medcalf and Charles Pinchbeck of the Heckington Windmill Trust said it was a relief to have the project completed.
