Could you be living next door to a Bengal tiger?
Syas - a six-year-old Bengal tiger - is one of hundreds of animals across East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire to be licensed under The Dangerous Wild Animals Act.
He is part of a private collection, and unlike zoos, there is no national inspection programme.
The RSPCA said this could be putting people at risk, and is calling for a change in the law.
Nationally, wild animals including lions, tigers, crocodiles, rattlesnakes and zebras are being kept legally on private property.
Currently, it is down to each local council to carry out inspections and decide whether to grant a licence.
