Ed Miliband makes migrant pledge to Londoners

The Labour leader has pledged to ensure Londoners can compete for jobs with migrant workers in the capital.

Ed Miliband has said he wants an "early warning system" that would allow the authorities to be told if migrants make up more than a quarter of a company's workforce.

And the party's policy chief Jon Cruddas said Labour would keep the annual cap on immigration in some form.

BBC London's Political Editor Tim Donovan reports.
