Mayor of London urges action on airport expansion

The Mayor of London has renewed his demand for a new airport in the Thames Estuary and accused the government of "risking inertia" by not making faster progress.

Boris Johnson says the new hub is crucial to the capital's economy but it has been revealed for the first time that the taxpayer would have to foot the bill - an extra £30bn - to build road and rail links to the new hub.
