Metropolitan Police 'should clarify drone position'
There have been calls for the Metropolitan Police to clarify their position on the use of drones.
Two companies have told the BBC they have been in talks with the Met about using the technology.
But the Met has said it can neither "confirm nor deny" whether it has used drones or whether it intended to in the future.
A drone - an aircraft without a human pilot on board - can be used to inspect wind turbines, and carry out 3D mapping and surveys for construction.
