CIN: Charity helps child abuse victims and families

Thousands of Londoners have already been busy fundraising for this year's BBC Children in Need Appeal which takes place on Friday.

London charities have been benefiting from the public's donations including Step Up in Redbridge, which supports sexually abused children and their families.

Lucy was abused as a child and she has now become a mentor at Step Up to help other victims. She raises awareness of sexual abuse by visiting schools to speak about her experience.
