Can prefabs solve London's housing shortage?

Prefabs were the cheap housing solution for bombed out Londoners after World War II, but can they once again become a solution to London's housing shortage?

One London council thinks they could be and aims to use a new type of prefab to help get first-time buyers on the property ladder. But will it genuinely help those on average incomes?

Hammersmith & Fulham Council's Andrew Johnson said: "Since 2008, 48% of people we've helped into low-cost home ownership have had an average household income of £40,000."

BBC London's Ayshea Buksh meets architect Robert Dalziel, prefab home owner Nathan Brown, Cllr Johnson and Neil McQue of the Federation of Master Builders.
