Night flights must be protected, says business group

A lobby group for businesses has said night flights to London's airports must be protected in order to safeguard the economy.

The Confederation of British Industry says they play a "unique" role for both freight and business travellers.

But residents living near Heathrow, Stansted and Gatwick have been campaigning to stop overnight flights.

BBC London Transport Correspondent Tom Edwards spoke to Hounslow resident Margaret Thornburn, Hounslow councillor Colin Ellar, and Rhian Kelly from the Confederation of British Industry.
