Robert Redford on independent film

The actor Robert Redford has been discussing the importance of independent film at the launch of his Sundance London Film Festival.

Speaking at the O2 Arena in Greenwich, Redford told BBC London that independent film-makers have a different type of voice to those involved in Hollywood productions.

The festival has traditionally been held in the US.
