Suffragette Emily Wilding Davison exhibition opens

An exhibition has opened in London in honour of a suffragette who died 100 years ago.

Emily Wilding Davison threw herself in front of King George V's horse at the Epsom Derby on 4 June 1913 in aid of securing women the vote which they eventually got in 1928.

The Wilding Festival takes place at St George's Church in Bloomsbury, central London, from 13-16 June and includes talks, music and a re-enactment of a march held shortly after her death.

BBC London's Sarah Harris spoke to Emily's descendant, Philippa Bilton, and Kirsty Marsh from the Museum of London.
