Tottenham Hotspur fans asked about anti-semitic chants

Tottenham Hotspur are sending out a questionnaire to fans about controversial chanting at their matches, seen by many as offensive and anti-semitic.

The club has a strong Jewish following and has been the target of abuse from opposition fans, but some Tottenham supporters use the terms "Yid", "Yid Army" or "Yiddos" themselves.

Ellie Kershaw, board member for Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust says the word has been reclaimed by fans however Ivor Baddiel, the writer and producer of a campaign film The Y-Word said it was offensive and made him uncomfortable.
