Protesters challenge leader over Brent council tax

The leader of Brent Council in north London has faced angry protesters as hundreds of residents were summonsed for non-payment of council tax

Labour's Muhammed Butt said that since April many benefit claimants in parts of London who were previously exempt from the tax have been required to pay a portion of it.
