How Christmas was enjoyed in London in the past

How Christmas was enjoyed by Londoners in the past has been celebrated by the Museum of London Docklands with a special exhibition.

Images show the first Christmas lights that went up on Regent Street in 1955, while homes decorated in different styles over the years are part of the exhibition.

The museum's David Matthews and Georgina Young talk about how some traditions are reassuringly familiar.
