London Mayor Boris Johnson talks to Bob Crow from RMT
The RMT union leader Bob Crow and London Mayor Boris Johnson have talked for the first time in years ahead of a 48-hour strike by London Underground staff.
RMT union leader Bob Crow went to City Hall to talk face-to-face with the mayor.
However, the mayor was taking part in a radio show so their conversation took place over the phone live on-air.
Union members are due to walk out from 21:00 GMT in a dispute over 950 job losses and closure of all ticket offices.
