London commuters tackle second day of Tube strike

The buses were still crowded, the roads still busy and hire bikes remained in demand.

But on the second day of the Tube strike, Transport for London said it had more services running and seven more Underground stations open compared to Wednesday.

Both sides have agreed to meet on Friday to try to end the dispute, but earlier London Mayor Boris Johnson called on the unions to bring the talks forward to Thursday.
