Unions suspend Tube strike action

A planned 48-hour Tube strike by London Underground workers has been called off.

The TSSA and RMT unions have agreed to pause the industrial action, so further talks can take place with London Underground.

The dispute centred on proposals to close all of the 260 Tube ticket offices and 960 job cuts.

BBC London's Transport Correspondent Tom Edwards spoke to Bob Crow from the RMT Union, Mike Brown from London Underground and Mayor of London Boris Johnson.
