Motorists can be fined despite parking within restrictions

An MP has challenged Transport for London (TfL) after a south London resident was given a parking fine, despite observing the parking restrictions.

TfL has said that in Streatham motorists can be given parking tickets after stopping for five minutes to load their vehicles, despite signs saying they could load their car for a maximum of 20 minutes.
