New lorry design could improve cycle safety
A new lorry design aimed at reducing the number of cyclists killed in collisions has been approved by the European Parliament.
Last year, 14 cyclists were killed on London's roads with nine of those incidents involving HGVs.
If Westminster agrees to the changes, lorries will have to have bigger windows and rounder fronts.
It is hoped these measures will reduce blind spots which have been blamed for previous deaths.
BBC London reporter Gareth Furby spoke to cyclists, officials and campaigners.
