St Barts hospital: Row over charity's care centre plans
A row has broken out over plans to build a cancer care centre at St Barts hospital in east London, which it is claimed will threaten the future of a historic building.
Campaigners say the new centre's modern design is not in-keeping with the neighbouring Great Hall, which dates back to 1738, but Maggie's, the charity behind it, says thousands of cancer patients in the capital will benefit from it.
BBC London's Karl Mercer spoke to Sir Marcus Setchell from the Save Barts Great Hall Campaign and Laura Lee, the chief executive of Maggie's.
