Tributes paid to Rio Andrew who died at an illegal rave

Tributes have been paid to a 15-year-old boy who died after going to an illegal rave in Croydon.

Rio Andrew, who attended Holland Park School, in Kensington, died on Monday after falling ill in the early hours of Sunday at an event at a disused sorting office on Cherry Orchard Road, in East Croydon.

The Met Police said they believe Rio experienced an "adverse effect" to drugs taken shortly before his death.

BBC London's Alex Bushill spoke to Colin Hall, head teacher from Holland Park School; Paul Oppe, from the Thames Valley Harriers; Gavin Barwell, Conservative MP for Croydon Central and Commander Simon Letchford, from the Met Police.
