'Quietways' to make roads safer for London cyclists

City Hall is seeking to encourage more people to cycle on London's streets by trying to make roads safer and more pleasant.

The London Mayor's Cycling Commissioner Andrew Gilligan has said a network of "quietways" will be set up to help those who do not want to tackle busy routes.

BBC London's Transport Correspondent Tom Edwards spoke to Mr Gilligan.
